Small Update : New Inv

Small update, the new inventory is finished, just need to use this new inventory now to make the shop and then that will be finished. Much prefer how this inventory is looking compared to the previous version, hopefully I can get some opinions in the comments. Work will slow down for a bit now as of the Easter brake and the Gears of War 3 beta which is one of my favourite games this generation will be calling to me. But work is moving forward as planed. Look forward to more screens on both the shop and inventory later.

A Brick Wall

Just a small update for today to talk about how the game is progressing. In the last post I said I would be adding a new video once lava has been fully finished with the extra things added in. Unfortunately at the moment I'm a bit stumped with what I want to do when water and lava come together. After programming two different ways I had thought out I feel that they just didn't work so am back to the drawing board there.

Windows Phone App

Just a small update to let everyone know that minequestRPG now has a Windows 7 Phone app for its blog.

Anyone with a windows phone should pick it up its free, will make following the updates of the game all that much easier. I would post a online link to the app but it brings me to some Zune thing when I try.

I want to thank @LaughingJ0ker on twitter for making the app and publishing it for me on the windows marketplace.

Also hello to everyone reading this blog coming from the new app, I hope the game will pique your interests and you will stick around to see its progress.

Hello World

First off, Hello.

I've never blogged before but since I'm planning on putting alot of work into this game, I thought sharing the development with the world may be a fun idea.

The game is called Minequest at the moment, I may change the title at a later date.
