Hello World

First off, Hello.

I've never blogged before but since I'm planning on putting alot of work into this game, I thought sharing the development with the world may be a fun idea.

The game is called Minequest at the moment, I may change the title at a later date.

What is Minequest?

Minequest is a 2D Retro RPG inspired by Minecraft.

The game will be based in a 2D randomly generated mine, there will be a story (However well I can write a story will be a different matter all together), there will be quests, shops, weapons, enemies everything you'd expect from a typical RPG. But the entirety of the game will take place in a mine in which you go deeper finding new minerals to make better mining and fighting equipment along with finding rarer and stronger enemies also.

While in development the mine is currently only 10,000 blocks deep. This will increase as the game grows.

By now I'm sure you get the idea of what is being created here.
